March 2008 – Just returned from our fantastic holiday. What a start, thank you so much for all your work in getting us up upgraded to business class! It just got better. The a/c vehicle was really comfortable and please pass on our thanks to Lakman our driver who couldn’t do enough for us. He was always waiting for us each morning with a clean car to take us on our tour for the first week – the most memorable part for me is the elephant orphanage.
You recommended a great selection of hotels which suited our taste perfectly. After our first week of touring, spending the second week relaxing at the Taj was much appreciated!
Stopover at Dubai was excellent. Thanks for recommending it.
Please pass our thanks to your very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We have been recommending Elegant Travels to our friends and I hope they be in contact with you. We will be in touch with you soon for the next holiday.
Until then take care. Speak to you soon.
Pauline and John.

Nov 2007 Hi All,
Once again thanks for the great recommendation. Malaysia was a bustling yet cultural place with mixers of old and new traditions. The tours were great. We love the highlands and island hoping. Great choice of hotels. Thanks for all your support and help in organising this memorable holiday.

Aug 2006 We have just got back from Sri Lanka – we had a wonderful holiday – so thank-you for organising it for us.
We would be very interested in doing something similar in another part of Asia next year (Mauritius maybe), is this something you would be able to organise/ quote for?
Looking forward to hearing from you
Mr & Mrs Hawkins
April 2006 I said I would email you once we got back!
We had a wonderful time. The hotel, ‘Eden Resort Hotel & Spa’ was a superb choice of yours as a substitute to the ‘Taj Exotica Hotel'(this was fully booked for the 12th & 13th, the last two nights of our stay). Weather was wonderful 32oc in the day, warm evenings to enjoy eating outside. The one & only evening it rained, we had booked dinner in the Watch Tower at 7.00pm to see the sun set & at 6.45pm the sky’s opened! nothing anyone could do. We continued to have the 5 course (Salmon, lobster, parfait nugatine etc, etc) in the Temptations Restaurant.
I could go on & on but may main reason of sending you this email was to say a big thank you for your outstanding service. You were so helpful considering the time scale to book the holiday in & the circumstances we were in referencing the family funeral we had to attend, you were marvellous & I thank you again for your customer service you gave us.

Having returned from our holiday in Sri Lanka and Maldives we just want to thank you and all your staff for all the effort they must have put in to organising such a fantastic holiday. We enjoyed every minute so much, every hotel was first class, the food was excellent, the scenery breathtaking and the whole experience unforgettable. Everything was well organised, with such a full itinerary we thought we may have tried too do to much but everything was so easy, we never lifted a suitcase, as we pulled up to the next hotel the baggage appeared in our rooms, and reappeared in the vehicle next day. Anything we didn’t need we just left in the car, in the care of our magical driver Chandra. What an amazing gentleman, he is a walking encyclopaedia on Sri Lanka, he is so proud of his country and so enthusiastic to show you all that is good about it, he really made the holiday special, he knows all the best viewing points, when we went to the elephant orphanage he took us to a lovely restaurant where we sat on the patio watching the elephants bath with the best view possible and no one else around, he just new the best place and time. We even started to think he could control the weather, November is monsoon and it did rain occasionally but every time we arrived at another point of interest the rain stopped and out came the sun. Please do pass on our sincere thanks and best wishes to Chandra, he worked so hard, we had some long days but he still insisted on personally taking us round every site even to the top of Dumbella rock.
The only hiccup we encountered was the transfer on the seaplane from Male to Kuruda which was chaotic, we had to wait 3 hours for the seaplane and then the luggage had to go on the boat which was delayed so we couldn’t get changed when we arrived, I would suggest you recommend taking a few clothes in hand luggage if going on to the Maldives from Sri Lanka. We were very impressed with the Villa in the Maldives and think it was worth upgrading from a bungalow to a villa.
I could talk for ever about the superlatives of this holiday but the only way to appreciate the experience is to contact Travel Sri Lanka and book it, we would recommend you to anyone, it’s great to find a smaller independent company that can more than compete but can knock spots off the multiples for personal service, knowledge of the area/country and great value for money.
Can we also thank you for your thoughtfulness in booking a hotel room in Male because of the early flight, it was very much appreciated. Once again many thanks to everyone concerned with your company may we wish you every success for the future, you deserve it.

Sep 2005 “Just thought that I would give you some feedback on our holiday to Sri Lanka.
The holiday was wonderful we saw everything that we wanted to see. Your driver / guide Mr Chandra was fantastic, he seemed to know everything about everything and made each day an unforgetable experience. We even saw the Perahera in Kandy which was brilliant.
Only two small points on the downside, we were disappointed that we were unable to snorkel as the weather in August prevents swimming in the sea in the south west of the island.
The only real bad point was the Coral Gardens hotel, it was appalling, the rooms were damp and filthy. It looked as though they had not been cleaned properly for months.
However we only had to endure this for one night as your agent Lalantha very quickly found us another hotel ( The Heritance) which was really good.
Lalantha also came to our rescue after I left my phone at the Earls Regency in Kandy, he managed to retrieve the phone and get it back to me. Many thanks to him.
I would strongly suggest that you remove the Coral Gardens from your itinerary as I am sure that a stay there would spoil an otherwise wonderful experience for your future clients.
Th other hotels Taj Samudra, The Lodge in Habarana, The Tea Factory and The Earls Regency were all excellent.
